Hyun-Soo Woo, Ph.D., is a School of Business Fellow and Associate Professor of Management in the School of Business Administration at the University of Mississippi. He earned his Ph.D. in Strategic Management from W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
His research focuses on firm strategies (agglomeration, competitive dynamics, and corporate social responsibility) and research methods. He has published in Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Management, and Organizational Research Methods. He also serves on the editorial review boards for Organizational Research Methods and The Leadership Quarterly and ad hoc reviewers for several management journals.
He teaches undergraduate and doctoral courses in strategic management and research methods. In his courses, he facilitates students to learn in active knowledge sharing between themselves and is dedicated to providing effective and diverse learning environments to students.
