Who’s Who Honoree, Esoterica Rayford, has been extremely successful and involved during her time at Ole Miss.
She is a senior business management major from Holly Springs, Mississippi. Esoterica has enjoyed her major and feels as if she has learned a lot of beneficial information. She touches on saying that “management teaches her so much about the business world that can be applied to other roles that aren’t management.”
While in the business school, Esoterica has been impacted by many of the students, programs, and faculty within. When asked what her favorite thing is in the business school, she replied with the staff. She says,
“They all want us to be successful and they do whatever they can to see us succeed.” She also says that the “school of business feels like her home on campus because of the care the faculty gives her along with helping her develop personally and professionally through organizations and opportunities.” She would also like to acknowledge “Kim Phillips who has had a huge hand in always making sure she is aware of any opportunities that are available!”
Other than her involvement in the business school, Esoterica is involved in many other organizations within the Ole Miss campus. She is the Vice-President of Alpha Kappa Psi, a co-ed professional fraternity on campus. She also is a School of Business CEO, where “she gets to share her love and passion for the School of Business with prospective students.” In the future, Rayford sees herself being a Project Manager with a company she loves!
