Frank Estrada is a Memphis, TN native who moved to Oxford, MS in 2007. He holds a B.F.A. with an emphasis in Printmaking and a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Mississippi. He is currently earning his Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communication through the School of Journalism and New Media and plans to graduate in the Spring of 2024.

Estrada is a local artist, printmaker, illustrator, graphic designer, animator, and 3D artist.

He has received several honors: Artist Mini-Grant recipient (2022), Emerging Leaders of Color for South Arts (2022), Mississippi Arts Commission Visual Arts Fellowship Grant recipient (2016), and Double Decker Arts Festival featured artist (2015). During his undergraduate career, he received the Roy Frank Finger Scholarship from 2011 to 2013. He is also a contributing illustrator to a local business, Invitation Oxford Magazine.

Frank worked for the RJ Young Company as the Document Imaging and Design Specialist at Ole Miss Athletics for five years. There, he digitized sports memorabilia, everything from photo negatives and newspapers to programs and media guides. In 2018, he joined the Department of Art & Art History staff as the Visual Resource Specialist and Gallery Curator. Estrada created content for the department’s social media platforms and maintained the website. He promoted the department in a modern era and represented the many talents of its students through social media for four years.
