Meg Barnes is a Management Instructor and Director of Career Preparation, earning her doctorate in Human and Organizational Psychology from Touro University Worldwide. She is a life-long learner with degrees from Auburn University, Virginia Commonwealth University, and the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Her expertise includes healthcare management, organizational behavior, career planning, and competency-based education; specialties in career preparation with her students through resume writing, interviewing and negotiating. She co-chairs the university’s Career Council, serves on a national task force regarding a career-ready workforce, and advises the Women in Business student organization. Dr. Barnes leans toward project-based learning, simulations, community engagement, and artificial intelligence in crafting and customizing personalized learning.
