Maverick McSparin, a senior from Edwardsville, Illinois, is an entrepreneurship major.
“Entrepreneurship involves critical thinking, business acumen, knowledge of common business practices, instincts, and fiscal comprehension all cobbled together,” he said.
Since 2018, Maverick has been a student with the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and is actively involved in all CIE events. In the fall of 2019, his team one the third place in the Business Model Competition.⠀

Maverick has also served as the co-president of the Entrepreneurship Club, a student-led initiative open to all Ole Miss students. When Maverick is home in Edwardsville, he helps his father with his business Edison’s Entertainment Complex
