Ms. Peyton Warrington

Adjunct Instructor of Management

Peyton received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Delta State University and a Master’s degree in Health Services Administration from the University of Arkansas. She joined the Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi team in 1994.

Through the years she has served as the hospital’s Director of Physician Services and Director of Marketing and in 2001 was named Assistant Administrator. As a senior member of the hospital leadership team, Peyton currently oversees many of the hospital’s operational and clinical ancillary areas including Imaging Services, Clinical Laboratory, the Oxford Diagnostic Center, outpatient and inpatient Rehabilitation, Facilities and Clinical Engineering, and Environmental and Food Services. For many years she was responsible for the hospital’s physician recruitment efforts where she successfully recruited more than 50 physicians to the Oxford area. One of the highlights of her career was serving as a lead for the construction of Baptist’s $300 million replacement hospital which opened in late 2017.

Peyton is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and currently serves as president of Mississippi Healthcare Executives.  She serves on the Oxford-Lafayette County Chamber of Commerce and is a past Chairman.
