Through BASE programming students get rich interaction with industry leaders, professional skills development training, and networking opportunities with employers across multiple industries to help them find jobs in their chosen area when they graduate.
Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship
Our mission at the University of Mississippi is to create innovative businesses through teaching, service and research. Overall, our purpose is to provide students with the knowledge, skills and experience necessary to become successful entrepreneurs.
Center for Insurance Transformation
The Center for Insurance Transformation’s certificate and internship program consists of a 20-hour curriculum for students enrolled at Mississippi Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), emphasizing both the fundamentals of insurance and professional development. Participants who complete the program are guaranteed a paid internship with a CIT partner.
Center for Manufacturing Excellence
The Business School is a proud partner with the Haley Barbour Center for Manufacturing Excellence (CME). Business majors who are members of the CME learn fundamental and innovative practices needed in modern manufacturing.
