Ms. Jennifer Payne Ethridge

Adjunct Instructor of Marketing

Jennifer Ethridge is an Academic Advisor in the Center for Student Success and First-Year Experience. Originally from Kentucky, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science/Secondary Education and a Master of Business Administration, both from Murray State University.  Additionally, Jennifer earned a Master of Arts in Higher Education/Student Personnel at the University of Mississippi.

Jennifer has worked in Higher Education since 2010 and has experience working in Admissions, Orientation, Business Advising, Student Success and First-Year Experience, Honors College, and Human Resources.  In her current role, Jennifer advises freshman students, acts as a resource for academic support, and serves on UM Staff Council. She has taught courses such as MKTG 101 (New Trends & Opportunities in Marketing), MKTG 361 (Introduction to Retailing), Academic Skills for College (EDHE 101), Freshman Year Experience (EDHE 105), and Advancing the First-Year Experience (EDHE 106).

Jennifer has been an active member of NACADA: The Global Community for Academic Advising. She has presented at multiple national conferences for NACADA.
