Milorad M. Novicevic (Ph.D. University of Oklahoma) is an Associate Professor of Management at the University of Mississippi. His research and teaching interests are in the management history, leadership and ethics, management education, and international management areas. He currently serves as the Editorial Board member for the Journal of Leadership and Organization Studies and Journal of Management History.
He has published more than 150 articles in various peer-reviewed journals including the Leadership Quarterly, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Academy of Management Learning and Education; Human Relations, Organization, Journal of Business Ethics, Human Resource Management, Journal of World Business, International Journal of Human Resource Management, Human Resource Management Review, and Journal of Vocational Behavior. Dr. Novicevic also co-authored a book titled Management and Organizational History: A Research Overview published He taught two PhD courses: Theoretical Foundations of Management and Organization Theory; and three MBA courses: Global Business, Strategic Management and Leadership and Ethics, as well as the following undergraduate courses: Principles of Management, Organization Theory, International Business, International Management, Global Marketing, and Strategic Management.
Professor Novicevic served as the PDW Chair, Program Chair, and the Division Chair of the Academy of Management History Division. He has also served as the Co-Chair of the SMA Management History/Education track. For his reviewing of management history papers, Professor Novicevic was awarded the Best Reviewer Award at both the AOM and SMA meetings. He is a recipient of the Outstanding Paper of the Year Award and the Highly Commended Paper Award for the papers published in the Journal of Management History. He is also the recipient of the Highly Commended Paper Award for the paper published in the Career Development International. For his teaching, Professor Novicevic was awarded twice the SBA Outstanding Teacher Award and twice the MBA Outstanding Campus Teacher Award.
