Dr. Dwight D. Frink is Professor of Management. His B.S. degree (1990) is from the University of South Alabama (Personnel and Industrial Relations), and A.M. (1993) and Ph.D. (1994) degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (Human Resources Management).
At Ole Miss since 1995, he also has been Visiting Assistant Professor of Management at the University of Oklahoma, and Visiting Professor of Management at INCAE Business School in Alajuela, Costa Rica, and at the University of Costa Rica. Dr. Frink’s research focuses primarily on accountability and organizational politics, producing more than 60 peer reviewed articles in outlets such as the Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Management, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Journal of Applied Social Psychology, Human Relations, Journal of Vocational Behavior, and Journal of Organizational Behavior, along with invited conceptual and theoretical chapters in scholarly series and books. He received a Journal of Management Paper of the Year award, and the Arnold O Beckman Research Award from the University of Illinois. He also has presented to various academic audiences around the world, including China, England, Scotland, Costa Rica, and Canada.
Professor Frink has served on editorial boards and as a reviewer for over 25 years, and also has been special edition guest editor for journals such as Human Resource Management Review and the International Journal of Human Resource Management. He has taught a wide spectrum of management undergraduate courses and doctoral seminars.
