Dear Students, Parents and Alumni,
Today, I welcome you back as we adjust to online delivery of education and assistance as you complete your spring semester. As we began this semester in late January, we never could have predicted it would be transformed into actions to help slow down a global pandemic. However, we will continue on our journey together to complete our mission to improve business and society by inspiring students, business and community leaders through advancing business knowledge and capabilities.
Our faculty and staff are committed more than ever to teaching and serving you. We are here to help answer your questions, whether it be about an assignment you’re trying to complete online, to helping advise you about your fall schedule or toward your graduation from Ole Miss. Our career staff is working virtually to continue to support and assist as you move into the working world upon graduation.
The university’s dedicated website, https://coronavirus.olemiss.edu/, has up-to-date information on the university’s statements as to how we will proceed as an institution. The business school’s website also includes additional contact information for faculty and staff. www.business.olemiss.edu. If you have questions regarding online resources for your class, please go to https://olemiss.edu/helpdesk. Additional information can also be found at https://olemiss.edu/keeplearning/.
Please know you have the full commitment of everyone here to support you during these challenging times. We care about every single one of you and are here to help you successfully continue your educational journey. We appreciate your patience as we implement these changes in a rapid time frame and handle these challenges to the best of our abilities.
I hope you and your family are safe and well during this time, and know that together we will get through this crisis.
