UM Business Welcomes Morgan Tucker to Speak

The meeting will take place on October 14th at 6 p.m. in Room 323 at the Student Union. The students attending will have the opportunity to meet with Tucker and learn more about her 25 years of experience in leadership and entrepreneurship.

Tucker calls her practice management and approach to recruiting, “a flywheel philosophy–the belief that authentic relationships generate real opportunities leading to quality referrals, and the consistent action of delivering exceptional care, creates momentum that fuels long-term success.”

She is passionate about guiding emerging professionals and servant leaders to pursue intentional careers, create strong relationships and create opportunities for their futures. Tucker's approach to recruiting, in addition to her philosophy, stems from education, instilling confidence as well as competence in her mentees

Hailey Helterbran, the president of OMBC said “One of our goals with the Ole Miss Business Club is to give students access to leaders whose experiences can teach them things they may not learn in a classroom.”

Additionally, Tucker has 15 years of experience as a Chick-Fil-A franchise owner and operator.  “Morgan has built businesses, led teams, recruited talent, and mentored young professionals, so I’m excited for our members to hear her perspective on leadership, relationships, and building a career intentionally,” Helterbran continued. 

This program will allow students to learn more about what it takes to be an entrepreneur, and how to build meaningful relationships through intentional networking. By learning from and hearing insights from Tucker, these students will be better equipped to take the next steps in their professional journeys.
