OXFORD, Miss. – The Risk Management & Insurance (RMI) degree program hosts an annual career fair to connect program sponsors offering students internship and full-time job opportunities. This year 17 companies set up on campus to meet our RMI majors.

Aaron Wyckoff is a senior from Plainfield, IL majoring in RMI, Finance, and Professional Sales. He found Ole Miss when searching for a university that offered a strong business program within a close-knit college town environment.
This year, Aaron did not need to participate in the career fair because he secured a full-time position at Beazley Insurance in Atlanta, GA. However, he connected with Amwins Brokerage at his first career fair, which led to a summer internship in Tampa, FL
Aaron shared: “The most impactful thing about the career fair is that there is plenty of opportunity to go around. Employers are very welcoming and offer positions for all experience levels—whether you’re a senior with years of internship experience or just starting out, like I was as a sophomore with only a couple of weeks in the RMI program. It’s an industry that needs young talent, so companies are actively recruiting at the few universities that offer RMI programs. In today’s job market, that’s very encouraging for students.”
