Futures in Finance Career Fair
OXFORD, Miss. – Futures in Finance is a career fair hosted by the Sporich Family Career Services Center in partnership with the Finance Department and Finance Club. The fair gives students the chance to connect with finance professionals across multiple sectors and explore internships and full-time opportunities. This year, 107 students attended and met with representatives from 19 financial companies.
One standout story is that of Zeke Flemings, a sophomore majoring in Banking & Finance. Zeke made it a point to connect with every company at the fair and followed up quickly afterward. His initiative paid off, within just two weeks, he secured a summer 2026 internship with Azuria Water Solutions in Tampa, FL. The company is known for its cutting-edge technology and industry-leading solutions in wastewater, stormwater, and remediation, will have Zeke working on financial analysis and planning to support operations and large-scale deals.
Reflecting on the opportunity, Zeke shared: “This internship will provide me with tangible experience in my field and prepare me for the next steps of my career by setting expectations, developing skills, and making connections.”
Zeke’s journey is proof that students who take the initiative to network early in their college years can open doors to meaningful, career-shaping experiences.
