Butler chose to major in professional sales, hoping to work in pharmaceutical sales or real estate. She said she has learned a lot from George Haymans, an adjunct instructor in management.

“He challenges us to learn as much as we can, which prepares us for the real world,” she said. “He strives for his students to succeed.”

As she prepares for the rest of her collegiate career in the business school, Butler said she is excited about the opportunities the university has to offer. She was named to the Chancellor’s Honor Roll for maintaining a 4.0 in her first year. She is also a member of Phi Mu social fraternity and the St. Jude Leadership Society.
