Multiple Passions Lead Mississippi Native to Ole Miss Business and the Pride of the South for College

OXFORD, Miss. – Jacob Whitt, a sophomore from New Albany, Mississippi.
Jacob is studying general business and is also a member of the Ole Miss band, the beloved Pride of the South.
He has been playing instruments for a long time but currently is focusing on the cymbal. He also has experience playing the marimba and the bass. One of Jacob’s favorite parts of being in the Ole Miss band is all the different places they play during football season. “I love marching down the Walk of Champions,” he said.
Jacob has multiple passions that he plans on exploring in the future. He would like to someday start his own business or possibly follow in his mother’s footsteps and become a real estate agent.
